The Mayor's Tea Party

Saturday 23rd February 2019

The Mayor of Amesbury, Cllr Margaret Strange invites Amesbury residents to a community Tea Party at the Bowman Centre.

Our daily life has been heavily affected by the nerve agent incident, and the Mayor's Tea Party is a tribute to people's resilience and their positive response to media attention.

Event - The Mayor's Tea Party

Time - 2pm to 4pm

Charge - FREE entry, FREE circus activities, FREE tea, coffee and squash.  Pocket money prices for various stalls.

Venue - The Bowman Centre, Shears Drive, Amesbury, Wiltshire SP4 7XT

Entertainment - We are very excited that Jonathan the Jester of Wessex Community Circus has offered to join us in this event with his amazing circus skills, Ariel Rig, Tumble Track and bouncy castle.  He has generously donated his time and equipment free of charge.  Fired Thoughts will be demonstrating their pottery skills, and holding a small working, where you can take away your creative works.  And if that isn't enough, we will have the emergency service vehicles, various stalls, face painting and wonderful Messy Mayhem who do fabulous art work with the under 5's.
