Amesbury Foodbank is opening in the Amesbury Community & Visitors Centre on Flower Lane from Monday 5th February.
When you face a crisis, which can happen to any one of us, it is vital that you can access the support you need as soon as possible. That’s why we are now available to give out Food Parcels to people holding a voucher every week day from 2-4pm. In addition we hold further information on other services of support and are happy to chat about these over a cup of tea or coffee if you would like. Lucy Duffy the Foodbank Manager says “This is an opportunity to get the help needed without travel cost and in a welcoming environment where volunteers are trained to provide signposting in a professional and confidential manner”.
A big thank you to the Town Council and shop staff for enabling us to help others.
Please note if you would like to donate Food there is a collection point at Amesbury Tesco. If you need help from us you can get a voucher from welfare services such as Wiltshire Council, GP Surgery, CAB, School, Children’s Centre and Housing Association – see our website for more details salisbury.foodbank.org.uk
