The Highways Agency will be continuing a programme of surveys along the proposed A303 Stonehenge route to give more information about the types of soils, rocks and groundwater levels in the area.
The Highways Agency will start preparations for a pumping test to check groundwater flow, levels and quality. This will be taking place on private property, but it is possible you may see some of our team wearing high-vis clothing or vans and equipment in fields.
The work will take place from February until April, with some work occurring during the night as well as in the daytime.
